Apply a waiver to conflict search results

If you added a waiver that was provided to you by a client for an Open conflict search, you can apply the waiver to the search to waive all matching results and resolve the potential conflicts of interest.

You can also apply waivers after running new formal conflict searches if the results show an Available status in the waiver column, which indicates that an existing waiver in the system may be applicable to the result. Multiple waivers can be applied to the same formal conflict search. For example, you may have a waiver provided by the client that is the subject of the conflict search and another waiver provided by the client who is a party in the search.

Note: Depending on your firm's SureClear configuration, waivers that match an exact client-matter-party combination may be applied to conflict searches automatically. If needed, you can remove any waiver that was applied by mistake or if the client has since revoked the waiver. See Remove a waiver from conflict search results.
